How does Cohear work?
Choose a prompt from the journal, press record, and begin sharing. Stories can be handwritten, recorded in the speaker’s own voice, or preserved using both formats.

What if the recipient does not enjoy writing?
That is exactly why Cohear includes voice recording. Parents and grandparents can simply speak their answers, making storytelling easier, faster, and more natural.

Who is Cohear for?
Cohear is designed for parents, grandparents, partners, and anyone whose story deserves to be heard. It is especially helpful for people who prefer talking to writing or find handwriting difficult.

How are recordings saved?
Recordings are stored on the recorder’s built-in memory and the included SD card, and are designed for long-term preservation. We recommend keeping an additional backup of important family recordings.

How much recording time is available?
The recorder can store up to 100 hours of audio. Available recording time may vary depending on audio quality and storage settings.

Can recordings be transferred or shared?
Recordings can be transferred to a computer, backed up, and shared with family members.

Are my family’s recordings private?
Your family stories belong to you. Cohear does not access or share recordings without permission. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about storage, account access, and data protection.

How is the recorder charged?
The recorder charges using a USB-C cable. A full charge provides approximately 100 hours of recording or playback time.

What if my Cohear product arrives damaged or does not work?
Please contact us at info@cohear.life within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video where possible. Our team will help arrange troubleshooting, replacement, or another appropriate solution.
