What is CoHear?

How does CoHear work?
Choose a prompt, then answer by speaking, writing, or both. One question can open a memory, a conversation, or a part of someone’s story you may carry with you for years.
What if they don’t enjoy writing?
They don’t have to. CoHear lets them simply tap and speak, preserving not just what they say, but the voice, pauses, laughter, and little details that make the story theirs.
Who is CoHear for?
For parents, grandparents, partners, loved ones, and yourself. For anyone you want to understand more deeply, feel closer to, or remember in their own words and voice.
How are recordings saved?
Recordings are saved to a memory card and designed for long-term preservation. We recommend keeping an additional backup of important family recordings.
Can recordings be transferred or shared?
Yes. Recordings live on a standard memory card, so they can be copied to a computer, backed up, and shared with family members.
Are my family’s recordings private?
Your family stories belong to you. Recordings stay on the memory card in your home; CoHear never accesses or shares them.
How is the recorder charged?
The recorder charges over USB-C, the same cable most phones use.
What if my order arrives damaged or doesn’t work?
Write to us at info@cohear.life within 7 days of delivery with your order number and a photo or video of the issue. We will arrange troubleshooting, a replacement, or another appropriate solution.
